An innovative new trade event and public exhibition is the lead event to kick start Mental Health Week in Brisbane when it opens on Friday and Saturday at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Southbank. Event organiser, Bob Carroll said that the event goes a long way to addressing one of the biggest challenges to our community and our heath sector in Australia today.

“Mental health among our employees, our children and our front line staff across a range of industries is becoming a major concern to Government and state health authorities. This event connects people and health professionals to new strategies, new technology and new products to help treat and rehabilitate people back into the workforce during recovery.”

Mr Carroll said that with the encouragement of NDIS and the support of sponsors Life without Barriers, Special Care Central, Comlink, Regis Aged Care and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, this is a FREE event. It is free for people to attend and get answers for themselves or for people that they are caring for or who are unable to attend themselves.

This is an essential event for those looking for help with disabilities, mental health, aged care and retirement living. A ‘must see’ event for those suffering or for the carers and professionals helping those in need. Go to www.careexpo.com.au for details.
