ITEC Health, a national family-owned business, is a registered disability support provider. Within Queensland itself, we service Thursday Island, the Northern Peninsula Area region, Cooktown, the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Brisbane, Rockhampton, Mount Morgan, and Mount Isa regions and surrounds. Services will be commencing in Innisfail soon and we continue to explore expansion potential in other locations too.

Our Slacks Creek office in Brisbane opened in 2019 and has continued to grow through these arduous times. This is due to our quality service delivery and establishing strong, positive relationships, ensuring respect and dignity for our participants. We consistently try to make a difference in people’s lives.

Soon after establishing Core Supports, Community Access, and Plan Management we ventured into accommodation. Located in Calamvale is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) option. The beautifully appointed house offers 24-hour care from qualified and caring staff. A high-quality home that is suitable for up to 3 NDIS participants, as well as a staff member, and currently has availability. Centrally positioned close to shopping and medical centres, parks, a library, and a home entertainment centre. The hose can be used for short term and/or medium term accommodation.

It is important to us that our participants feel safe and respected. Everyday we aim to contribute to them enjoying their best life possible. Family are encouraged to visit and all meals are from a nutritious menu. Staff are committed to helping to plan and achieve goals that lead to a satisfying life.

At ITEC Health we believe in making a difference in all that we do, hence why we are dedicated to a person-centred approach. We work closely with participants, and their families, in order to understand what is unique and special about them, as well as what drives them. With this knowledge we can match people with tailored supports and services, that create an environment where they feel equipped to make optimal decisions for themselves and be in control of their lives.

At the Calamvale SIL, participants will build skills and capacity to live independently. Staff can also help an education and/or employment pathway, as well as help build connections within the community. ITEC Health staff have a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience assisting participants and their families. They focus on being empowering, life enhancing and culturally appropriate whilst fostering inclusive communities.
